Women-Only Community Policy – Full Version

Her Travel Network (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a women-only online community created to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for women to connect, share experiences, travel, collaborate, and grow together.

This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions and applies to all members, users, visitors, and participants across our website, community platform, events, and related services.

1. Eligibility & Representation

By joining Her Travel Network, you confirm that:

  • You are a woman
  • You understand that this community exists specifically to support women
  • All information you provide during registration and participation is truthful and accurate

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to:

  • Request verification of eligibility
  • Investigate concerns relating to misrepresentation
  • Remove any member found to have deliberately misrepresented their identity

Any deliberate misrepresentation may result in immediate removal without refund.

2. Community Standards of Behaviour

All members must:

  • Treat others with respect, dignity, and good faith
  • Respect personal boundaries and privacy
  • Communicate in a non-abusive, non-threatening manner
  • Refrain from conduct that makes others feel unsafe, exploited, targeted, or distressed

The following behaviour is strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, intimidation, coercion, or stalking
  • Discrimination of any kind
  • Exploitation, manipulation, or grooming
  • Hate speech, abusive language, or inflammatory content
  • Sexual misconduct or predatory behaviour
  • Use of the platform for illegal, deceptive, or harmful purposes

3. Safety, Safeguarding & Platform Integrity

We reserve the unrestricted right to remove any member whose behaviour, in our sole judgment, compromises:

  • The safety of other members
  • The emotional or psychological wellbeing of the community
  • The trust, purpose, or integrity of Her Travel Network

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Harassment
  • Discrimination
  • Exploitation
  • Misuse of the platform
  • Breaches of trust, confidentiality, or safety

We are not required to issue warnings prior to removal where safety, safeguarding, or platform integrity is at risk.

4. Meetups, Travel & Offline Interaction

Her Travel Network provides a digital platform for connection only. Any in-person meetups, trips, shared accommodation, travel arrangements, or offline interaction are:

  • Organised independently by members
  • Entered into voluntarily and entirely at individual risk

Members are solely responsible for:

  • Their own personal safety and wellbeing
  • Risk assessment and decision-making
  • Appropriate insurance coverage
  • Vetting any individuals they choose to meet offline

Her Travel Network does not conduct background checks and accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, injury, damage, illness, dispute, or harm arising from offline interactions.

5. Enforcement & Disciplinary Action

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to take any of the following actions without notice:

  • Issue warnings
  • Restrict or suspend access
  • Permanently remove a member
  • Ban future access to the platform

These actions may be taken where we believe this policy, our Terms & Conditions, or community safety standards have been breached.

6. No Refunds for Policy Breaches

Where a member is removed due to a breach of this policy:

  • No refunds will be issued
  • This applies to all subscription tiers, including monthly and annual memberships
  • Removal for safety, misrepresentation, safeguarding, or misconduct overrides all refund rights

7. Policy Scope & Acceptance

This policy applies across:

  • Her Travel Network website
  • Community platform and mobile app
  • All chats, rooms, events, content, and communications
  • All affiliated activities under the Her Travel Network name

By accessing or using Her Travel Network, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Women-Only Community Policy.
